“Habitat for Humanity in Asheville, NC” is an Alternative Break Program Winter Break Experience focusing on Humanitarian Relief. During our experience, we will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity in Asheville, NC. During this experience, participants will learn about the humanitarian Relief efforts taking place in the Asheville area. Additionally, participants will support the building of houses in the Asheville area after the disaster that was Hurricane Helene. “FurKids: Operation Pawssible in Cumming, GA” is an Alternative Break Program Winter Break Experience focusing on Animal Awareness. During our experience, we will be partnering with FurKids in Cumming, GA. During this experience, participants will learn about animals while working with the largest no-kill shelter in Georgia. Additionally, participants will support the various shelters operated by FurKids, interacting with cats and dogs throughout the trip.
