Late Knights: Executive Board

Apply to join the Late Knights 2021-2022 Executive Board as the Engagement Director, Special Events Director, Communications Director, Marketing Director, or Programming Director!

Position Duration: May 2021-April 2022

Requirements:

  • Report to the Late Knights Advisor, Graduate Assistant, and Executive Director
  • Fulfill at least 5 office hours per week
  • Attend and participate in each monthly Late Knights event
  • Maintain leadership qualifications as per the Golden Rule Student Handbook
  • Hold no other OSI Leadership positions
  • Other duties as assigned

Engagement Director

Responsibilities

As Engagement Director you will be responsible for making organizations and departments both on and off campus aware of Late Knights, and what those entities can do to assist in late night programming. This director coordinates Registered Student Organizations, volunteer involvement, and the UCF Community. Engagement Director facilitates and coordinates the student volunteers for each event as well as oversees the Late Knights Council.


Special Events Director

Responsibilities

The Special Events Director coordinates all entertainment for Late Knights large scale events. This person manages all operational needs for vendors and ensures the smooth operation of Late Knights events. The necessary forms and procedures reqiured by the university will be filtered through this director. This includes gathering prices for the entertainment and documentation such as inflatables, food, and crafts.


Communications Director

Responsibilities

Being Communications Director you will be in charge of promoting our events and our agency as a whole throughout the univerisity. This would be through tabling opportunities, whether it be outside the union, RWC, or as various events. You would also be responsible for the innovation of new and creative way to promote Late Knights to the University. The Communications Director would be responsible for working alongside the other directors for the overall benefit for Late Knights.


Marketing Director

Responsibilities

As Marketing Director you will be responsible for the graphics of each event, as well as the promotion of them on social media and around campus. You will work with the communications director to coordinate the best methods of outreach throughout the university as well. By integrating unique social media methods, this director will increase the outreach of the agency.


Programming Director

Responsibilities

The Programming Director coordinates all entertainment for Late Knights weekly small scale events. This person manages all operational needs for vendors and ensures the smooth operation of Late Knights small scale recurring events. The necessary forms and procedures required by the university will be filtered through this director. This includes gathering prices for the entertainment and documentation such as inflatables, food, and crafts.


Applications are due on March 14th, Zoom interviews will take place March 15th through March 19th

Downtown Student Life: Student Coordinator

The Downtown Student Life Board is responsible for programming and engaging our Downtown student population while helping to create a vibrant culture of students. The time commitment for this position is 8-10 hours per week for Coordinators.

Becoming a member of the Downtown Student Life Board will provide you with leadership development, personal takeaways, and skills that you will be able to take on your next endeavor.
