Connection Campus Team Coordinator

20 Office Hours per Week

The Connection Campus Team Coordinator shall be responsible for operating the Connection Campus offices in their
respective region and expanding the services paid for by Activity and Service Fee. They are also responsible for
creating programs and activities for the students within their regions,and providing knowledge of events at the
Orlando Campus. Public speaking (i.e. at events, in classes, etc.) is a part of the responsibilities of this position.
Occasional travel is required. There will be a coordinator at each of the campuses except Leesburg, Ocala, and
Altamonte.

Connection Campus Team Assistant

15 Office Hours per Week

The Connection Campus Team Assistant shall be responsible for assisting the Connection Campus Team Coordinator in all
matters at their respective campus. This position is responsible for maintaining and operating the different regional
campus offices and assisting with event planning and programming duties. Public speaking (i.e. at events, in classes,
etc.) is a part of the responsibilities of this position. Occasional travel is required. There will be assistants at
each of the following campuses: Daytona (1), Sanford/Lake Mary/Altamonte (2), Cocoa (1), Palm Bay (1), Valencia West
(1), Valencia Osceola (1), and South Lake (1), and Ocala (1).

Days of operation: Mondays through Thursdays, occasional Fridays for training.

Non Traditional Knights: Student Director


Paid position – 1 available

The mission of Non-Traditional Knights is to be an advisory council that serves as an educational resource to all
Non-Traditional Students and student organizations and as a liaison between the organizations and the UCF community.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a spokesperson for the organization and representative to the University community.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the organization
  • Maintain communication with the Office of Student Involvement and ensure that all paperwork is current
  • Be responsible for managing the NTK budget, in conjunction with the Advisor
  • Ensure that all officers are performing their duties as defined in this Constitution
  • Be familiar with Golden Rule regulations and SGA Statutes and communicate them to the organization as needed
  • Assign special projects to officers
  • Provide all documents and records pertaining to his/her responsibilities to the newly-selected Student
    Director
  • Responsible for leading NTK Executive Board meetings
  • Prepare training and retreats for Executive Board retreats
  • Prepare an agenda for every Executive Board meeting
  • Serve as SGA liaison, and be responsible for monthly OSI and SGA updates and attendance at Board of Student
    Director meetings
  • Present NTK’s budget request at SGA Budget Hearings during the winter break
  • Ensure accountability among board members and that they work collaboratively to achieve the NTK mission
  • Responsible for bi-weekly emails/announcements
  • Ensure functions of NTK are in the best interests of the different pillars of NTK and all NTK objectives are
    met
  • Complete all projects assigned by the NTK advisor
  • Work closely with Advisors
  • Attend NTK events, trainings, and workshops
  • Attend and contribute to all Executive Board Meetings
  • Fulfill 15 hours a week

SG Student Assistant


The mission of the Office of Student Involvement(OSI) is to provide quality programs, services, and leadership opportunities that enrich students’ academic endeavors and enhance the campus environment. Students and staff collaborate to develop programs and services which encourage student’s personal growth, to promote civic responsibility, to embrace differences, and connect students to the campus and the community.

  • Complete detailed minutes of each Senate meeting
  • Maintain and manage all Senate legislation
  • Compile Senate Committee Meeting minutes weekly
  • Serve as a resource for GA and SG staff
  • Meet with the GA and SG Staff at least once per semester for a job performance evaluation
  • Participate in conversations developing office policies and procedures
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Coordinator, OSI Associate Director, or OSI Director
  • Other duties as assigned

Weekly Hours: Up to 20
Payrate: $11/hr
