& Service Fee funded Agencies. Impact Awards is facilitated by Knights of the Round Table in collaboration with
Student Government.

Reuel Buchanan Outstanding Member of the Year


The Reuel Buchanan Outstanding Member of the Year Award commemorates Reuel E. Buchanan, for his
outstanding leadership and service to his fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, and the UCF Community during his time
as the organization’s president. This award is reserved for an outstanding organization member who embodies
leadership qualities that have positively affected the UCF community in a direct and meaningful way.

This past year has proven incredibly difficult for everyone. Involvement during one’s college career impacts academic achievement, mental health, and future success as a leader after college. With Covid-19 moving most of our classes virtual and limiting our day-to-day interactions with each other, this has become even more important to students everywhere. This award recipient has made great efforts despite limitations due to Covid-19.
