“Atlanta, GA Youth & Education” is an Alternative Break Program Spring Break Experience focusing on Youth & Education. During our experience, we will be partnering with LaAmistad in Atlanta, GA. During this experience, participants will learn about youth and education support in the Atlanta area. Additionally, participants will support young students by participating in various organization and preparation activities, as well as supporting after school tutoring and homework help run by LaAmistad. “Blooming Readers in Boston” is an Alternative Break Program Spring Break Experience focusing on Education & Literacy. During our experience, we will be partnering with 826 Boston and Prison Book Program in Boston, MA. During this experience, participants will learn about the importance of literacy for a variety of people, including youth and incarcerated individuals. Additionally, participants will support youth writing and tutoring with 826 Boston and help select and prepare books to be sent to incarcerated readers with Prison Book Program.
