Florida’s Primary Elections are around the corner! If you want to vote in the Florida primary elections, the registration deadline is July 22nd.

What is Knights Vote?

The mission of Knights Vote is simple: to igknight a passion for civic learning, democratic engagement, and voter engagement in our Knights community. Knights Vote is committed to making voter engagement a priority across Knight Nation!

Knights Vote Committee

The Knights Vote committee is a collaborative, nonpartisan team across the university that will create campus voting goals, provide valuable perspectives, and champion democratic engagement for the university. Knights Vote will be comprised of key stakeholders across the university and Orlando community.

Our Goals for 2024

  • Increase voter participation rate to 80% or higher for the 2024 election
  • 500 Knights will sign the Knights Vote pledge to vote
  • 10 Registered Student Organizations or student leadership groups on campus will host voter-education and voter-engagement programs prior to the 2024 Presidential elections

According to the National Voter Engagement Week group, “studies show you are more likely to vote if you make a plan to do it. Think through how you’re going to vote, when you will go, how you will get there, and who will join you.

ALL IN provides national seals and awards to recognize campuses for improvement and success in increasing college student democratic engagement. Awards are presented biannual during odd-years at an ALL IN Awards Ceremony.

How to Register to Vote in Florida

To register:
Contact your local Supervisor of Elections to register to vote in your county or update your voter information.

To be eligible you must:

Florida voters can register to vote in a variety of ways:

You can apply to register to vote at any time. However, to vote in an election, you must be registered in the state by the book closing date, which is normally the 29th day before each election.

What to Bring

You will need to bring a current and valid photo identification with a signature.

Some approved forms of photo identification are:

  • Florida driver’s license
  • Florida identification card issues by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
  • United States passport
  • Debit or credit card

If the photo identification card does not have a signature, you must provide additional identification with your signature.
A voter information card is not an acceptable form of ID. Your card is a good source of information about your voter registration including your assigned precinct and polling location for Election Day.
